100 Dreamers…

For a few years, I have been shooting Chinese people sleeping during the day on the streets of China ..  I collected a few hundreds of them between 2005 and 2008… This project is entitled ‘Day dreamers’, it was exhibited in a few festivals in Asia (Lianzhou, Angkor) and published in a few magazines in Europe. As I decided I had now enough ‘dreamers’ in my collection, I could finally build the ‘final product’ of this series: a 5 meters long composite image made of 100 ‘day dreamers’.

— UPDATE July 2013 —

I am glad to take part in a group show at the Yan Huang Museum in Beijing thanks to the support of the Huang Zhou Art Foundation.
The exhibition was curated by Kenza Fukuhara and gathered 10 long-term resident foreign photographers.
I printed for the first time this panoramic image gathering 100 “Day Dreamers”.

Please find below some snapshots of the exhibition.
